Football Fundraiser

Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20

 

Hualien Da- Rong Elementary School's football team (Taiwan under 12 champions) will be spending three nights and two days in Taipei. As Taiwanese champions they were due to attend international football competitions in Austria and Hawaii this July. Alas, due to a lack of funding, have had to cancel their plans and make do with a consolation prize of a weekend in Taipei. All the same, we shall endeavour to make their weekend in Taipei as memorable as possible.

On Sat. 19th there will be a friendly match between the school and a team of foreigners from Taipei ( possibly mixed).
Also MAFC - a Taiwanese team will be playing at some stage, too. On the morning of the 19th, beginning at 10:00am there will be a bazaar/bring-and-buy sale at the venue. Food and drink will also be on sale. Proceeds from the bazaar will be going to help out the football team with gear, organization, transportation etc. for their immediate future. Also, we're hoping to get some money to Mei-Yuan Elementary School in Miao-Li that badly needs a 'face-lift', re-wiring etc.

Anyone interested in helping out with the bazaar/bring-and-buy sale, please get in touch. If you've got stuff to sell, let us know. Also anyone with any ideas on activities for the day, such as amusement park games etc. please send us your thoughts.

7/18(週五)~7/20(周日)帶花蓮縣鳳林鎮大榮國小足球隊的孩子們探訪台北三天兩夜, 並於７／１９與外國朋友及台灣MAFC球員的足球聯隊舉行友誼賽!

公車：搭乘公車33,72,222,286。
捷運：捷運淡水線坐至圓山站下車轉搭102,103至9號水門大佳國小站。

7/18(週五) 約18位師生(15位學生,3位老師)由鳳林搭火車北上, 晚餐, 住宿在台北.

7/19(週六)
早上10:00慈善園遊會(早餐由住宿的地方提供,午餐由設攤的攤位提供)
下午14:00與外國球隊及台灣MAFC的足球聯隊舉行友誼賽!
傍晚結束活動~晚餐(地點尚未決定)

當天所募得款項扣除成本後之用途:
1.花蓮縣鳳林鎮大榮國小足球隊經費.
2.苗栗縣泰安鄉梅園國小校舍整修.(已附上校舍目前的照片)
3.其他公益用途(學費或營養午餐).

7/20週日 台北人文之旅~~故宮, 101大樓或米勒畫展或貓空纜車,其將視我們有的交通工具再作計畫.......
午餐~由Mr.Paco's提供用餐(台北市仁愛路四段345巷4弄23號1樓)
午餐用畢搭火車返回花蓮
